I am very appreciative of the way the characters were written in this book. Our FMC is logical, thoughtful, emotional, and matures before our eyes. I LOVE being able to actively watch and follow the growth during a story like this. That being said, while the writing was some of the best I've read recently, the story was not gripping enough for me to continue to the 2nd book at the moment.

Also wirklich Emilia, gegen Ende wollte ich Sie am liebsten Schütteln um Sie zur Vernunft zu bringen. Fratello Antonio gehört aber eindeutig in die Klapsmühle! Wrath war schon sehr witzig, klar er war einer der sieben Prinzen aber wenigstens einer der Charaktere mit etwas Grips und der Birne. Bis auf das frustrierende Ende war das Buch aber sehr gut und ist für Genre Fans sehr empfehlenswert.
