All About the D is a sweet, flirty contemporary romance with all the delicious D of a steamy smut book. The combination is a fun ride that is just good reading from start to finish. The writing is smart, exciting, and just really well put together. Sit back and enjoy the D.

Evelyn "Evie" Mills is a corporate lawyer that specializes in contract law working for Waller, Goldman and Associates. She receives a mysterious call one day from Josh. No last name, just Josh.

What did Josh want?

Representation for a social blog that was less DIY and just social D. The kind that was NSFW (not suitable for work). Once Evelyn had the nerve to open the link that Josh sent her for his blog her eyes nearly pop out of her head. His D could't possibly be real, could it? The respectable Waller, Goldman and Associates would never allow her to take someone like Josh on as a client, would they?

There was only one way to find out...meet the infamous Josh in person and see if he measured up. Well, not literally because she didn't know what kind of person this Josh person was or if what he was showing was even real, not that she would check....well you get the quandary she was in.

The person she meets is not exactly what she expected and everything she never saw coming.

Josh Cartwright needed help. He needed a lawyer, but not just any lawyer. He was stuck between a rock and his hard....let's just say that his rock hard member now needed representation and Josh's face needed anonymity.

The Cartwright family dated back to the beginnings of the town's origins. Buildings, streets names, prestige went along with being a Cartwright. Being a social media porn star did not exactly fit the Cartwright mold.

When Josh began his site on a dare, he never expected his site to go viral, but when the sponsors began contacting him to promote sex toys he knew he was in over his head. He needed a good lawyer. One who would use discretion and would look out for his best interests in dealing with the sponsor contracts. When did his life become a giant cluster?

When Josh and Evie meet they never thought their attraction would be a problem, they could be professional and still work together. After all he's a Cartwright and she works for a respectable law firm. But as they get to know one another their lives get a lot more complicated when there is a famous D involved.

I have always been the friend that can turn every conversation into prime porn content. The filthy minded individual who looks innocent but has the mouth that would make a sailor blush- that's me. Dirty jokes and innuendo have been my best friends since before puberty. I always thought I was alone...

Now I know better! Lex Martin and Leslie McAdam are obviously my twin sisters and somehow we were separated at birth. I have read several of Lex's stories and am I fan. I have also read all of Leslie's (and may have almost all in signed paperback). I enjoy their writing individually...but this...ALL ABOUT THE D!!!! This is a whole new level.

I spent the entire book snickering, smirking, blushing through an evil cackle, and belly laughing. To say that it was an absolute joy, would be an understatement. I flat out had the best time reading it. The humor, situations, and comments absolutely made it ridiculous but in all the right ways.

If you need...
a "bad boy"
to be held down
lickable abs
naughty behavior
catty b!itches
stuffy parents
and to hurt yourself laughing...

You need All About the D.

If you don't need a read so funny that you...
shoot soda across the room
get an ab workout
snort in public

Then you are more relaxed than I am and clearly won't react in the same juvenile way...you still need All About The D.

Trust me! Your day and week will be a whole lot more fun.

Warning:

Reading this book might result in a residual needs to chuckle at roosters, make "that's what she said" comments, whisper about how hard it is, and generally fall apart at size comments. Stay away from department stores if you have this problem.

If it lasts longer than a few days, please consider telling your doctor All About The D. If you find the side effects are prolonged, be sure to contact everyone on your book friend list with the details.

You have been warned.

All About the D is my first book by either Lex Martin or Leslie McAdam, but I have heard great things about them and this book sounded so good. I liked it and will definitely read more from these two in the future. I think that a lot of readers are really going to enjoy this one.

Josh comes from a prominent family and is known for professional. But he has an alter-ego online, with a blog that is anything but what he is known for being. With having a NSFW dick pick blog though, Josh seeks out legal help to protect his identity from being discovered. He never expected Evie though, and soon finds himself unable to avoid the temptation. But Evie knows all his secrets and that could ruin everything before it ever has a chance to start.

I will admit that while I liked these two, this book started off a bit slowly for me. I was having some trouble getting into the story, but luckily that changed. Things started to pick up and I did enjoy the story. There were times that both of these characters drove me a bit nuts, but overall this one was light-hearted and cute. I liked it and there were some really great moments here.

There were a few things that I was a bit confused about and that had me a bit in my head at times, as they didn't seem to fully make sense to me. But I think if you are able to just get lost in the story and not get caught up in all the details that this book is one worth reading. I am definitely curious to read more from these authors, and this won't be the last I read from them.

All About the D is an instantly comical and super steamy romance. I adored all of the characters in this one, except for the few we weren't supposed to adore. Evie and Josh are such a great couple with undeniable chemistry. I especially liked that Evie is a strong female character. She is independent, intelligent, and she's described as being a curvier woman.

Everything about All About the D is worth 5-stars. From the plot to the audiobook narration. I HIGHLY recommend taking advantage of the Kindle Whispersync deal on this one and snagging the audiobook. You won't regret it.

3 unexpected stars

After reading the description of this book, I really thought I was in for a light, smutty read. Our hero posts pictures of his junk online for heaven's sake. Our heroine is a plain Jane laywer that stays hidden under frumpy clothes. I was expecting it to be some cocky *tee-hee* douche that falls for a beautiful lady with zero confidence. I wasn't too far off, however. But I should have known that any thing that Lex Martin is associated with will be more than just a smutty read.

Josh just wanted to shut his best friend up when he posted the first cock shot on the interwebs. One anonymous dick pic couldn't hurt, right? Wrong. So very wrong. Once his blog took off thanks to his horny fans, how could he to deny them? He never imagined that he would get offers from businesses in the sex industry. Like making a dildo based on his peen - for example. Coming from an uppity family, he couldn't risk being identified. He needs legal advice and assistance.

Evelyn "Evie" couldn't believe her eyes. Some man named Josh wants her to represent him and help hide his identity. She really needs clients to work her way up in her law firm, but how in the world is she going to pitch this to her firm? Oh, we have a possible new client that wants me to represent him. He runs a NSFW blog where he posts artistic crotch shots. Thinking she has gone insane, she still agrees to meet Josh to discuss this possible business arrangement.

Upon meeting up at a local coffee shop, Evie is shocked that Josh is behind the 'All about the D' blog. Josh is shocked that Evie is a humble, naturally-curvy beauty with brains. Their endless dick jokes and teasing had me in stitches. It didn't take me long to get caught up in their chemistry; they compliment each other so well. But everyone knows that you can't mix business with pleasure...

Evie stole the show for me. She was such a breath of fresh air. The authors had so many opportunities to turn her into a overly-jealous, whiny bitch. But they didn't. Thank God! She handled Josh and his odd hobby with so much grace and brains that I just wanted to cheer. There were many situations where she could have been a big baby about her man flashing his junk on the internet, but she didn't. She actually encouraged him as she knew it made him happy - even when she wasn't too keen on the blog anymore.
SpoilerKudos to her for only being upset with Josh for looking at the nude pics and videos that his fans sent specifically for him. It was a little silly as those responses should be expected, but it really made me respect her more. Damn straight that she is more than enough for him! He shouldn't need to watch or respond to anything that graphic.

Josh was okay. I loved the little quirks about his character - like the fact he wore glasses. It's the simple things... However, he really got under my skin and not in the good way. He doesn't handle confrontation well. He hurt Evie multiple times just because he didn't want to open his mouth. And thanks to his blog, he believes that he is God's gift to everybody. I understand the rush he got from his blog was amazing, but he annoyed me in that regard.

Oh, and how crazy was that epilogue!? I liked it, but it was so out in left field. Not what I was expecting at all.

I am looking forward to more Lex Martin books. I believe I will jump into Dearest series next!

This book is everything. Love these two authors separately, together, they are a writing force to be reckoned with. This story revolves around Josh and Evie, and Josh's...business. This was such a creative fresh and new story to be told and I am so glad I was able to read it. This book...yeah a book about the D, gives you feels...not those kind you pervert! You really get invested in these characters, and you love them from the beginning. Evie is the right mix of vulnerable, and take change. Josh was the right mix between humorous, sex God, and all around good guy...oh yeah and he wears glasses...be still my heart! This book takes us on such a journey I didn't want it to end. Thank you Lex and Leslie for such an amazing book. If you do one thing this year, read this book. This story is told in alternating views.

What an adorable book! I LOVE Lex Martin's writing and when I heard about this book I HAD to have it. I've never read any of Leslie's books....but well, now I have to! ;)

This book was fun and light. I loved how Evie and Josh seamlessly fit together. Their chemistry was unbelievable. They are definitely one of "those" couples who are just so cute and understand each other with a glance!

This author duo needs to write more together. I can't get over the writing. Flawlessly flowed from one page and chapter to the next.

I was originally going to give a 4.5 star rating because while this book worked for me, I just had a few personal complaints about how some things were handled in regards to Josh & his blog. That's my personal view and something that frustrated me when I read it. I totally had to side with Evie on it. I was SO connected to her, throughout the whole book actually, but this part I just wanted to high five her and say "IM WITH YA GIRL!". But when I sat back and thought about how rate the book, I decided it's a 5 star. Considering how well I connected to Evie.

I cannot wait for Drew's book! That book is going to be so much fun!
