Start of another story line and very interesting.
This story line brings back the long forgotten powers of the night wings that includes, mind reading, future seeing i.e. prophecies and also animus magic.
Main protagonist of this book being Moon watcher, a very innocent and good hearted dragon, blessed with the gifts of mind reading and prophecy shows excellent ability to make positive use of the gifts. It is indicated that she is very kind and open minded towards her fellow or claw mates that lets her make good friends even though she starts out being shy due to all the noise that she keeps hearing.
She is the confidant of the mighty villain and we are yet to see how this bond is going to turn out. At this point its not clear what kind of a person Darkstalker really is. Really eager to read the book about him next rather then jumping into the next book in the series.
Lot of things happen as a part this book, Jade Mountain academy opens, winglets are formed, different clans mingle again to form better bonds. A couple of revenge scenarios still exist which becomes the core of the plot for this book and they are unentangled in a pretty neat way.
Waiting to read more in this series.

I loved this one. Moon was probably my favourite protagonist out of the new set of winglets, though the others were not bad either. I loved seeing her learning about other tribes and experiencing other tribes for the first time and I also loved seeing her powers and seeing her work through weather she should keep her powers a secret or not. And I loved seeing Darkstalker, even though he seems deceptively nice in this one trying to keep Moon and alive and helping her through dealing with her powers, I can't wait to see more of him.

Not bad, especially considering I haven't read any of the series since the first one.
Wings of Fire book 6 Moon Rising is the next arc in this series. We follow a brand new set of dragonets as they navigate the newly established Jade Mountain academy.
I honestly want sure if I would enjoy this arc as much as the previous one. But I admit I am pleasantly surprised. I am excited to follow these new dragonets and their adventures.
This book follows Moon a gifted Nightwing who is nervous about hiding her talents while trying to fit in at a new school. I loved the introduction of a nightwing with abilities. Certainly opens up so many questions. Also, the new prophecy speaks of destruction, but can Moon and friends prevent it. Guess I'll need to keep reading to find out.
