This is a great book. The author uses a creative device to help readers get to know the characters in an otherwise first-person story. It is fast paced and fun read. I'm glad my daughter asked me to read it. It's one of her favorites. I'm starting to think of this series as A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) for kids.
I really enjoyed this book! It didn't stretch me at all, but the story was engaging and it was interesting to read what it might be like to be able to read minds. I liked the themes of friendship and of not always being certain of the right choice, but trying to make good decisions anyway.
This is (in my opinion) the BEST book in the Wings Of Fire series. I love it when Moon talks to Darkstalker because even though he's technically a villain he is a cool character and he's one of my favourites so far
reread my FAVORITE childhood book because quarantine and i absolutely loved it once again. i adore this series, it’s really what made me love reading when i was little, so now i’m thinking i’m gonna reread the whole thing. it seems i’m becoming a ten year old again over this coronacation because i’ve also been spending a lot of time watching minecraft videos??? but about this particular book i absolutely loved every single second of it, the new set of characters are just fantastic and i love them all so much. the conversations between darkstalker and moon are just so freaking interesting. just overall character dynamics and dialogue are 10498372626% great and the plot is layered and interesting and i love everyone especially moon.

Unlike the Warriors series, Wings of Fire doesn't announce when a second stage or series begins, but that's whatever.
I do like the game changers and what Tui T. Sutherland is doing with these new characters. And I am pretty excited to move forward because this sixth book implemented one of my favorite tropes of all time: Something ancient waking up to a modern world.
Don't know if I will take a break on these or not, but I do plan on catching up before the year is over.

A sadly enough disappointing start to the second arc.

Moon was a great character to start off this arc with. She is very different and more thoughtful than the previous dragons in the series. She has abilities that it was thought the Nightwings didn’t have at the time and so she tries to hide them. Of course, this causes plenty of issues between her and the other characters.
The other characters features alongside Moon were great. I also loved seeing the previous five dragons take a small part in this book and remain mostly in the background. This book was otherwise really exciting and a great setup to this new arc.
