I loved this book. Cassie and her relationship with her best friend Izzie, with the older man and Drummond was so interesting to listen and read. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot, with all of its twists and turns. Definitely recommend this book to all my sliding door fans!

I enjoyed the concept of this book and the endless possibilities the magical books, specifically the book of doors, can create.  I was not a fan of the graphic descriptions of violence throughout the book and was not aware of them prior to reading.

A great book for anyone who finds themselves on adventures between the pages of a beloved book. Sometimes difficult to extend my disbelief—but an altogether great book.

This was wild. The Book of Doors popped on and off my Most Anticipated List for 2024, not quite making my final 15, but there was a reason it was such a strong contender. This is a story of books and time travel and threats to the balance of good vs. evil. If you love magical realism and time travel paradox stories, this was an absolute rollercoaster.

Except maybe it also should have a horror tag or a gore warning? I honestly was NOT prepared for some of the levels of ick based on the blurb and premise.

p.s. Mr. Webber is an absolute gem

The premise of this sounded extremely promising and right up my alley. There were pacing issues, plot twists that felt forced and it felt all over the place.

The creation of the books especially was something that just didn’t make that much sense to me and from there on out I had a hard time continuing the read
