Loved this fun, light, LDS romance! Melanie Jacobson is one of my new favorite LDS authors -- her books are well-written, funny, clean and just-right for the romance. I loved all the characters (and their names!) in this book -- especially Pepper's parents. The message about gratitude was incorporated well into the story -- and the thank-you notes in each chapter were terrific!

Melanie Jacobsen is a fun writer. I love her style. She's very entertaining.

I enjoyed this book. I want to buy a copy for my little sisters. I even liked the ending of this one a lot. I liked the characters and thought everything was pretty realistic.

The only thing I didn't like is that Tanner's dislike of Ellie is never explained. And Ellie never gets the kick in the face she deserves.

Probably my favorite from Melanie Jacobsen so far. I think this goes a little deeper than some of the others. I've quickly become a fan of Jacobson's witty writing and colorful characters. A fun "Mormon Romance".

Well, first of all, this book featured a pleasant surprise for me: it takes place in Utah, which is where I'm from. It constantly made references to real-life Utah things, such as locations and the culture. And I understood all of it :)

Now, onto the actual book. I was a little hesitant to read it at first, because I read a lot of chick-lit and have been trying to break away from it, but eventually I gave in. Unlike most of the chick-lit books I've read, which take place in high schools, this was about a college graduate, so it talks about more mature things, such as finding a career and entering mature relationships. I really liked that about this book.

I enjoyed the start of this book, because it was funny but also thoughtful. However, about halfway through the book, I seemed to gradually lose interest in it. That's mostly my fault, though. When there's romance in stories, I prefer it to be more of a sub-plot and not be the main focus of the story. This is a romance novel. You can't blame a cat for being a cat.

Believe me I wasn't expecting to give 5 stars to a "Mormon chick-lit". But this book surprised me. It had me giggling and bouncing up and down like a middle school girl who has just discovered boys.Melanie Jacobson has a fascinating voice that draws you in, which i loved! I literally couldn't put this down. This was a cute love story that was surprisingly well written. It had some fun twists that kept it from being one of those cliched romances you often expect to find in these types of books. The characters were very well developed and I loved that Jacobson gave the reader the chance to grow close to them and care about how each character ended up. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to find a good, light, fun read!

Ok Pepper’s situation in the beginning of this book hit a little too close to home, and I can only hope my story ends up the same way hers did! I also picked a different major then I wanted and am searching for jobs in the field I want. This story taught me that gratitude and taking a chance are important steps in getting out of a slump.

The writing is fantastic! The story felt real and all too relatable. I loved the characters and basically everything about this book. I’m definitely putting this on the list of my all time favorites.
