This is my least favorite I think. I don’t love the opening and unfortunately from a modern pov, the racism is just so blatant it’s hard to receive any of the spiritual messages. Also whoever said this makes Lewis a universalist is crazy

I’ve had the series of Narnia books sat on my bookshelf for years, and admittedly this is one I’ve just never read. (Who didn’t skip straight to the lion, the witch and the wardrobe?)

I was looking for a very quick read while I decide on my next book, and although I have absolutely no idea what made me pick it up, I’m glad I did. A great little children’s book; I absolutely cannot wait to read the series with my daughter when she’s a little older.

Good old simple fun, I enjoyed it. It definitely gives one a great sense of nostalgia. So much so I have to read the rest of the series in order now. At least it will give me a little extra time to pick my next ‘adult’ book! A great fun read... 👍🏻
