actually absurd amounts of racism and sexism for a children’s fantasy book, not to mention a VERY dark ending to what was otherwise a whimsical, sweet, and funny series. 

you know i love a serious, high-stakes conflict, but this was…. wow. and justice for susan???? omg. why does c.s. lewis hate women once they grow up

This was better than I remembered. Very strange, and gets bogged down a bit in the middle, but the ending is so worth it. Epic in scope, it's a fitting end to the series.
