this book is by far the most racist and dripping in religious allegory of them all. they genuinely refer to the people that are meant to be middle eastern as "darkies" and say that they are bloodthirsty and stink of onions and garlic. i am not paraphrasing. those are actual lines from the book.

Gosh! that ending made me feel really uncomfortable... I don't know if I wasn't able to appreciate the real meaning, maybe... I don't know. Everything was going so well and suddenly... WHAT!? UGH... I'm gonna miss these stories anyway :(
