If you want to know in depth what it means to have Aspergers Syndrome and how it affects people who are close to “Aspies”, this is the book for you. Picoult is an expert in research, no matter the subject, and she doesn’t disappoint here. It’s not difficult to figure out who will be killed and how so if you’re looking for a mystery, it isn’t here. The ending leaves a lot to be desired; it’s one of those endings that leaves it up to you to imagine what happens. But I couldn’t put this one down, the anticipation of waiting for the characters to figure things out was brutal.

Audiobook- I definitely give the audiobook a 4 stars. I love a book with multiple narrators especially with several key character points of view. That said I did enjoy this book. The only let down is I feel like it was too long for how obvious the ending was.
I really liked this book, but I didn't get sucked into it like I have many of Jodi Picoult's books. Usually, I cannot put them down until I have finished them, but this one took over a week for me to read. I don't exactly know why that is, but it is an interesting story. I didn't know very much about Asperger's prior to reading, but now I feel like I am very informed on the disorder. I had the cause of Jess Ogilvy's death figured out long before it was revealed at the end of the book...when someone mentioned the injury could have been the result of a fall. I didn't like the way it ended, as I have no idea if Jacob or Theo got into trouble for either of them did...
Entertaining and fast read, but sadly the ending was predictable
I LOVE JODI PICCOULT!!! She is just such a talented author I can never put her books down. Rated lower than normal bc there were a lot of random plot lines that never went anywhere but the rest of the writing was soooo good
