Another good page turner for me!

Totally predictable. The real story was a love story b/w the mom and the lawyer and the relationship of the father with the children. The "murder" mystery could have been cut out completely. It would have been a much better book written as a character study.

I learned from this book (as with all of Picoult’s books). I enjoyed the entire story and will almost certainly read it again!

My favorite Jodi Picoult book so far. I love how we had a glimpse at what it's like from Jacob's point of view. So far, it seems like usually we don't get a glimpse from the child's POV until the end. I love that his was throughout the entire novel. I also love how I could really see the struggle and feel what was being described. I would highly recommend this book.

Love Jodi Picoult. I recommended this book to some of my 8th graders since it deals with autism.

Loved this book! Love anything Jodi Picoult writes! I didn't want to put it down - I spent the whole weekend reading. Hopefully, I now have a good understanding of Asperger's.

Interesting story but too much repetition about Asperger's. Frustrating b/c why didn't anyone (especially his mom) ask Jacob outright to explain what happened?

I was totally engrossed in this book because I was hoping that I didn't really figure out the ending by page 175...in a 532 page book. Boy, was I bummed out. It is very obvious what happened in this book. Don't get your hopes up about Picoult's signature "twist". Also, this book leaves you so frustrated by the adult characters' inability to just cut to the chase and it felt so repetitive. I usually love this author, but some additional edits could have made this book 200 pages shorter and gave it much more of a climax.

An easy read that didn't require much brain power but was still on the side of being interesting. Mostly about two brothers (one autistic, the other pushed to the side because of his brother's disability) trying to cover up for one another during a crime.
