My rating for this is based off of personal preference when it comes to literature. The story itself is beautifully written and has such heart and friendship in it. Within the first 20 pages I knew it would break my heart at the end...and that is exactly what happened. My three star rating is because it was hard for me to chug through the last 150 or so pages, but I did it. Again, it's a personal preference thing.

I think I’d read almost anything Sarah Ruhl has written, napkin poems included.
