Back to the book, okay I didn’t hate - I actually enjoyed it, hence me currently reading the second book. I like the characters, and Kal is lowkey, actually high key hot. Doctor Death hello!!!!!!!!
Obviously the writing isn’t stellar, it’s a kindle unlimited book. But for what type of book it is and the demographic it’s not horrible.

I’m all for unhinged characters and dark romance—love that stuff! But this? Not really my vibe. If it’s your thing, that’s cool.
I just wish there had been more story buildup before the MMC telling me that his D stiffens at the sight of FMC in CHAPTER 3. What? Chapter 3?

Writing and Flow wonderful, I really flew through it. Plot went nowhere 🫠 and everytime they could have talked they fucked. Loved it but it was one of those books that is "good but not great"
Well I learned a little about myself and my icks from this one. Mom and daughter sleeping with the same guy is one of them
It doesn’t even deserve a rating. This book is the worst thing I’ve ever read.
this was like hades and persephone except we’re gonna make it uninteresting. sort of a weird mafia thing, an evil but actually good doctor thing, but not a lot of either of those but not a lot of actual personality from any of the characters either? not worth it
