I really enjoyed the way this book was a mystery in its own right while continuing the cliffhanger from the previous story too. Like most thrillers, it is fast-paced and fairly far-fetched at times, but it suits the style of writing. We are also given historical insights into the different locations (which seems like it’s going to be a hallmark of each of the books in this series) which is an absolute winner for me.

The character descriptions and love stories are disappointingly weak, but I’m hoping they improve as the stories go on.
