It was enjoyable listening.
BUT...Elisa..Oh boy, she was insufferable. What mum agrees with a playdate with a woman she never met before. It is like you would go outside with your child and some random woman with child approached you and you agreed that yeah, your child can go on the playdate. Why the hell not? Also, I didn't like about Elisa that she kept that secret for a f**king year, especially when she claims, that she would do ANYTHING for her daughter. Bullsh*t.
Lucia, the kidnapped daughter, she sometimes didn't sound like 7/8/9 years old girl, not sure how old she was. She sounded like a more older child, maybe like a teenager.
And the last thing, for my liking, not good closure of the story. I didn't get any repercussions for any of the characters and I would love to see Elisa suffer.

What a brilliant read! The story was very different from anything else I’ve read, and got me hooked from the start. The twists were so intriguing. And all the characters were well developed and extremely likeable, I felt for all of them.

This is the story of a 7 year old girl who is abducted while on a play date.

The pace of this book was so fast and kept me on my toes throughout the whole book. The tension and suspense continued through the pages.

The characters were well developed and relatable. I did feel that the character of the girl who was abducted felt older than 7. Some of the dialogue with her felt more mature than a conversation with a young child.

The ending was good and all the loose endings were tied up. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. A great page turner.
