I really liked this. It's a different take on angels and demons in a dystopian future. The characters are likeable, the descriptions are great the twists you can see coming but in a good way. Definitely going to read book 2.

This book picked up and moves with a faster and faster pace. Devoid of tacky cliffhangers, I read this novel at an accelerated rate because it had so much going for it. Action, a twist or two, spiritual aspects. Here at the end of the world, we find a well-built place, not lacking in depth at any point. I hadn't anticipated like this story as much as I have. Good vs evil, angels and demons, this thriller is one of the better ones I have read of late.

I can see why it took an award! My copy is an ARC. My review is left of my own free will and my thoughts and opinions are my own.

WOW! What an amazing conclusion to a complex and exciting story. A family emergency is the only reason it took me 5 days to read. Otherwise, I would have finished in a day. I did not want to put it down. I have read other books by Jeff Altabef and once again he has given a great book a totally unexpected finish. I am so excited that there will be another book in this series to carry on the storyline. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
