I really like this plot of this 2nd book! Good locations, some nice twists, well organized mythology, fun new supporting characters, dialogue that really moved the plot expediently, some ACOWAR vibes… this was a very solid sequel!

Brie is the kind of heroine that things happen TO, as opposed to her really initiating - well anything- on her own. Again her anti-heroine shadow form was the best (albeit BRIEF) parts of this book.
