Most of the story is engaging, but the way it ended took away a full star. The book didn't end...it just stopped. I know there are more stories, but this one is far from complete.

Wasn't a fan of the insta-love or cliffhanger ending but it did have some good parts. I may read book 2 to see if it gets better.

I keep coming back to this genre as a way to lighten my reading experience but I continuously end up being disappointed. Same old story line, same hot sex (I'm not complaining!) and same shallow character development. I couldn't get through the book because I appreciate what little precious time I have to read.

I'm not really sure how I feel about this one. Some parts I really liked, but others... not so much.

Talon, my dark sweet man

I feel very very sorry for him; kind of knew what his trauma is from the very begining. I still love him, but he really needs help.

Heads up this book is full on CLIFFHANGER....
I gave this book a lot of snark in my progress notes. The characters are believable, likeable, and the plot and subplots are fantastic. The way it's told from dual POV, is my favorite way to read/hear a book. I would've given this book four stars, but the SEX is written like a technical manual. This may be Helen's style, I don't know, as this is the first book I've read by this author. It's just awkward in some places. The terminology was so off putting at times. I had to stop for a day, becuase it was actually making me crabby. If you can get around that, it's a really good story. That being said, it isn't going to deter me from reading the second book coming out in July 2016.
