Just a really solid and heavy book. I feel like I should clarify that I meant emotionally and not physically, it is actually quite a slight book that weighs very little. I recommend reading the book with the only caution being it covers a lot of topics that might uncomfortable or even triggering like incest, homophobia, rape, drug usage, underage drinking, and mental illness.

One of my all time favorite books. Have read this at different stages of my life from pre-teen to teen to young adult and it always has such an impact. I’ve had different views everytime I’ve read it. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is emotional, funny, deep, and a short read. It’s captivating and so easy to read and follow this flawed, messy, but loveable cast of characters.

This story was so beautiful. I read it at a time where it was much needed. The character development, the plot, how the characters were so loveable and relatable. This will forever be a 5 star read for me.

I wasn't too thrilled with this to start with and it's not the best book I ever read, but between the awful taste in books and the weirdo language (what 15 yo talks like this??), it does catch hold and the ending is pretty great all things considered.

Gorgeous book. A book I'd advise anyone to read multiple times.

There's so much I want to say but I'll just leave it at this: Charlie is both a simple and complicated character and the reasons for this contradiction is what makes the book larger than it's 200 page length would seem to suggest. Must read.
