Wow this book will ruin your day. But it might be worth it, depending on who you are. Too much sexual content for my liking, but I really liked the way mental illness and trauma were depicted.

bye bye Charlie :)
I am charlie, charlie is me, he's the character I identify with the most (beside Jo March).
I really liked the book and now it is very dear to me.
Take care, Charlie.

My boyfriend lend me this book, since it's one of the most important books for him. He read it when he was a teen, and found a lot of things to relate to with Charlie. Reading it now, I can see it, with Charlie's growth and what he's told me of his youth. I feel a lot closer to him now.
I think it's a great read for a teen, since it goes over a lot that happens in high school, how friends change you and your routine, and how beautiful that is. How you can fuck up friendships not being sincere and how sometimes that's fixable with time and sometimes it isn't. And that's okay. As long as you're here at the end of the day, that's what matters.
Younger me would've also found a lot of comfort if she could've read this years ago.
