Despite knowing the story of Romeo and Juliet, I never read the play before. I want to read more Shakespeare plays, so I thought that I’d read one of his most famous plays. I really enjoyed it. Shakespeare’s plays are truly timeless, even if they are sometimes a little hard to understand because of the language differences. Romeo and Juliet is so well known, it was easy enough to understand what was going on, and I loved the romance and the tragedy of it all. I definitely plan on reading more Shakespeare in the future.

I gave Romeo and Juliet 3.5 ⭐️ because I did it for a school project and the teacher took all the fun out of it
