This had me rolling, mostly because I found myself on so many pages!! The humor and relatability was excellent! Quick, short one to two page comic reads, this is a fun, light read!

A great collection of Heart and Brain comics - although my favorites are Gallbladder and Liver - that is both funny and thoughtful about our expectations of ourselves as adults (but not in a heavy-handed way). Would definitely share, especially with someone coping with anxiety or feeling overwhelmed with the world.

I received an eARC from the publishers and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Heart and Brain: Gut Instincts is a collection of The Awkward Yeti comics featuring different organs of the body, with the emphasis on wise, workaholic brain, carefree and easily-distracted heart, along with other characters like tongue, stomach, eyes, and gallbladder. The digital file was readable, but some panels were blurrier than others so I re-read it once published. Topics include healthy eating, exercise, work, dreams, and other workings of the body and mind. This is a short, fun book of laughs and I will continue to read more by The Awkward Yeti in the future.

Note: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated in any other fashion for the review and the opinions reflected below are entirely my own. Special thanks to the publisher and author for providing the copy.

Another great Awkward Yeti Collection. Heart and brain bring the humour again. It is nice to see all the organs together.

I love these comics! So glad I can follow the Awkward Yeti on Facebook since it looks like there are just 2 books out.
