The fact that I got to read this before anyone kind of fills me with a certain zeal and annoying naner-naner type of thing. But seriously, I beta-read this book and it was AMAZING at the beta stage, which means it's going to be killer when it's published. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Megan's writing style and her sex scenes are H-A-W-T. Like, seriously so hot, I need to keep a fan nearby ;)

And now for some teasers:

Well, finally. Cole shed some light over himself. I mean, we get to see his POV. His thoughts about everything. I say... He's downright obsessed. lol. But oh well, I kinda understood him. But I want to know more about his past. The things Martin told here were not enough for me. I want to know more of his life. What happened to his brother. To his sister, Sandy. Maybe I'll get it from the third book. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to wait for another more months.

Good job. :)

This was certainly an interesting installment to the series. The author has a way of drawing you into the story, keeping your attention right to the end.

Parts that sparked a reaction in me:

1. When Cole shows up at the gas station... with Elaine
2. Julia's attack
3. The change in Julia's dad
4. Julia's friendship with Mandi
5. Everything that happened in NOLA
6. The motel scene. Wth?!
7. Cole and Julia finally professing their love for one another

I love the lengths Cole is willing to go to for Julia. I would feel sorry for Elaine, but she definitely DOES NOT deserve sympathy. I'm wondering if the last book will finally tell me what happened with Cole's brother and sister. I have my suspicions, based on his reaction to a picture of them. I guess there's only one way to find out. On to book 3. Cheers!

Can I murder the characters, specially Cole? They are getting on my nerves and irritating me. Ugh so much.
The first part went perfectly. I enjoyed. I really don't know why this part made me hesitant.
Julia is so conflicted and Cole is not helping. He is hot and then cold.
Told you, I hated Vic. He is giving me some serious wrong vibes -or I am reacting-.
Can we kill Elaine and Cole's mother, then hide their bodies? They are too much, in a bad way.
Still, the mystery behind Cole is keeping me on edge.
Part 3 ---- coming.
