Another lovely addition to the series! I loved the dynamic between Josh and Freyja (although Freyja was a little <i>too</i> enthusiastic with her fists at times...) This is the fourth book of Mary Balogh's I've read and the fourth I've teared up at – witchcraft!!

Freyja has always been my favorite Bedwyn. We've heard her story throughout the previous books, so I was curious how she would find her happily ever after. I'm delighted to say she met her perfect match in Josh, and their story is one to remember.

Freyja is pure hilarity! I love her headstrong attitude and her complete and utter aggressiveness! Josh is the perfect balance to her!

Frejya is fierce and adventurous. The opposite of most other ladies she encounters. Luckily she is a Bedwyn. When a man runs into her room at an inn she is not afraid and stands her ground. When she sees the same man accosting a maid in a park a few days later, she takes action. And so Lady Frejya meets Joshua and their adventures begin.
This was just as good as a reread it’s been years since I read it so I didn’t remember much. The audiobook was great.
