Smh...I want so much to give this book a good review, but there was so much back and forth. A few racist comments that had absolutely NO bearing on the story at all and should have been left out. Several details were out of order that it made the book difficult to get through. Like, no one caught them in the final organization of the book?

Creative format - interspersing podcast content with more typical narration - but the main character was unlikeable (and her husband was not believable), important plot points weren’t delivered clearly, the twist was evident almost immediately, and the writing wasn’t strong enough to make up for the other weaknesses. It’s not terrible for what it is, but I’d look elsewhere for a well-plotted and -written thriller.
