I'm sorry Lemire, I'm sure you are a lovely writer but after the Fraction & Aja run, literally anybody else writing Hawkeye just seems... wrong. It's like somebody took out the soul of the character.

Really sad to see this series end. Fraction and Aja were a tough act to follow and Lemire and Pèrez gave the series a very different feel while still essentially following through on the character development the former team set up. Sort of maddening the way the characters and the writers avoid DTR between the Hawkeyes, but this was a really rewarding ending nonetheless. Hope the next team carries on from here and doesn't just reboot even though that seems kind of inevitable given the ending.
