A post-apocalyptic novel about regrets we have and how we find meaning in loss. With numerous characters all linked by one actor and his death, how they all make their way through the world without him is a reflection on grief and making your way in a seemingly chaotic world following tragedy. Deeper than first glance, while still engaging.

I can't quite give this five stars, but it was definitely one of the best books I've read in a while. If you're expecting a typical post-apocalyptic novel, you'll be disappointed -- and I say this as a lover of typical post-apocalyptic novels. The plot is ingenious, and the characters seem real to life. I can definitely see the world ending up this way.
