I loved this. I love a post apocalyptic novel and this was amongst the best I have read.

This has been on my TBR for so long and as expected, I loved it. It was beautiful and touching.

Incredible. Weird reading it after an actual pandemic. The story craft is impeccable.

I’m so glad I read this in 2024 and not in 2020. Tremendous and riveting.

I think Emily St. John Mandel is becoming one of my favorite writers. Reminds me a bit of Octavia Butler. Really enjoyed this, that is after I got past the weirdness of realizing a book about a global pandemic was written just a few years before an actual global pandemic.
That aside, super solid writing and characters, and just a good, hopeful story about life and living.

I could not get into his book. Although the setting was refreshing and fun, I did not care about the characters nor their goal.
