This book is so beautiful. It was an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish and I cried several times

This was the first time I ever reread this book, and I picked it up because I wasn't sure if I would still love it today. Not only has my reading shifted this year, but I know everything that happens now, so the twists and turns won't be that twisty to me now. But I ended up still enjoying the book. It's been a couple of years since the last time I read it, and there were things I either didn't notice before or completely forgot about, so it still had some interesting/shocking moments. I do wish that the ending was a little different. I feel like Fallon kind of just forgives Ben a little too quickly.

Really not that great but also was really enticing. I wanted to know how things turned out, but the plot twist was really upsetting.

This was a good book. I loved the plot! I loved Ben and Fallon's relationship. They had the best banter and the heat set the pages on fire! I loved the way Ben made Fallon feel good about her scars and helped boast her confidence.  The twist was heartbreaking. Ben and Fallon meet on November 9th during an emotional altercation. Fallon immediately falls for Ben, but she's moving to New York that night.  They make a pack to meet every November 9th to help each other reach their goals. The only catch no contact of any kind for the rest of the year.

I don't know how anyone can actually root for Fallon and Ben to get together when he should rot in jail.

Fallon and Ben meet for the first time when they’re 18. She's been a promising actress until a fire ruined her appearance 2 years ago. He's an aspiring writer. The day after their meeting Fallon will move from LA to New York in an attempt to make it to Broadway. They spend the whole day together and Ben gets inspiration to write a book about them. They decide to meet at the same date every year for 5 years - November 9.

Colleen Hoover really is a master when it comes to writing emotional books! The characters are well thought out and easy to relate to, regardless of their background and personality. Fallon has visible burns and scars from the fire, something she always thinks about, and it has made her lose her self-confidence. Ben sees the person behind the scars and he's doing everything he can to build her confidence up again. Emotional roller coaster guaranteed if you have a heart - just like in "Ugly Love"!
