It took me a long time to read this book. Now that I have finished it, I would recommend reading the parts similar to how they were originally released instead of as a whole book. It’s important to remember that each part was released over several months - lots of repetition of some events.

I would not consider this a horror novel. Stephen King is one of my favorite authors and I just did not enjoy this book. I think the story dragged on too long.

Percy is the worst character. I hated that character so much. I’m sure that was the intention for him.

UTIs are mentioned a lot throughout the book for one of the characters and it’s just weird.

guys I like to listen to music when I read and I decided to put Ok Computer on for the last part and it just added so much to the immersion like I’m devastated and school starts soon what do I do??
