The characters were so relatable, lovable, and funny.  This book tackles racism within minority communities and how that impacts the main characters feelings and decision making.

Lost half a star for the scene where she caresses him *through the shower curtain* for an extended period of time and it’s meant to be sexy. Ugh. Ick. Nope.

But I did completely relate to the way he could calm her anxiety just with a presence and a touch - I am lucky enough to have that kind of a person in my life and I knew exactly how she was feeling as she was able to breathe easier when he was there.

another book with South Asian representation. I loved this book and all the books this author has wrote within this series. I think its so important exploring the racist aspects of the Indian community and the stigma that is held on marrying someone outside of race and religious beliefs in a modern society.

This was a pretty down-to-earth romance. I liked that this was about repairing an old love, which I feel like I don't see that much in romance. I also liked how the third act conflict wasn't annoying and was more about the leads working together as a team to resolve a conflict, rather than miscommunicating and fighting. The male romantic lead felt a little too perfect. I think the author forgot to give him a flaw of any significance, other than maybe jumping to conclusions. In any case, gave me nice feelings. Would recommend.
