I buddy-read this book with my study buddy and we both didn't finish but discussed where we left off, And I like how the book explained the ongoing rivalry between America and China, both economically and geographically.

Found quite a bit of this interesting and informative, but the author's reliance on and belief in the oversimplifying "Clash of Cuvilizations" theory fatally weakens the book.

I feeel like if I read this in 2017, it would've been brilliant but a lot of the arguments have been rehashed over and over since that it doesn't have quite the same groundbreaking impact I was promised it would. Fantastic resource but will be handy to have on a bookshelf. Goddamn he loved LKY but hey
