It was fun and entertaining, exactly the right fantasy vibe I needed right now. Not the most well written book I've read, but it's a debut from the 90's🤷 It's full of potential, so I will definitely read the next book!

This reminded me very much of Tamora Pierce, in good ways. I think I’ll be recommending this to people who like strong female characters. I look forward to reading more.

If I had never read/seen any of Lord of the Rings, I would have enjoyed this book a lot more. Green Rider is an enjoyable read, but it has way too many similarities to LotR for me to fully enjoy it. Apparently this continues through the series, so I won't be reading any more.

If you always had a secret desire for Frodo to be a female human, this may be the book for you. If not, I advise you to look for something more original.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. Strong female lead, lots of adventure, and interesting minor characters. There's still lots unexplained about the world which makes me want to continue reading the series. I'm looking forward to getting the second one from the library tomorrow!

i really enjoyed reading this book. From the characters to the world it was interesting. It is a bit repetitive in some things,  but i had fun.

This was book 11 of 12 of the 12 books for 12 months recommended by friends.

This book was... unfortunately very boring to me. For the most part. It picked up just a bit around 60%, but even then I struggled a bit to keep going.

I don't hate this book. I think a lot of aspects about it are really neat actually. But idk what it is about this one that really makes it drag. I can't place my finger on it.
