This is a quick, fun and festive novella that sets the mood for Christmas cheer.
The writing is smooth, the characters are all very likable.
The romance isn’t too angsty or dramatic.
It’s mildly steamy, the romantic connection is sweet and cute.
Holly has had a crush on Teddy for awhile, he’s her brothers best friend and football teammate.
She’s shy and reserved. Her twin is the outgoing extrovert to her shy, reserved introvert.
I love that the sisters are close and support each other.
The twin sisters add a fun aspect to the story.
Their brother is a sweetie to them even if he is the wilder sibling.
It was an enjoyable and entertaining holiday story.

A sweetly adorable holiday novella. Jenshak brought all the nostalgia of a family Christmas and mixed it up with college students escaping for a few days during their winter break. This is perfect to pick up and read during an afternoon sitting by the fire with a hot cup of cocoa.
For Holly the holidays mean tradition; baking cookies, singing carols, putting up a tree, spending time with family, etc...However, this year her parents are on vacation right up until the actual holiday so it's just her and her siblings and they've decided to spend time at the family cabin until it's time to head home. While Holly still wants to do all of the same traditions at the cabin, when she arrives with her twin sister, Stella, she did not expect her brother to be there with most of the football team, especially with Teddy her crush. This changes things, just a bit...but some changes make the magical holiday just a bit sweeter, especially when they get snowed in.

I have a bad habit of diving into books blind. This being said, Snowed in with the Player isn’t exactly what I thought it was going to be.
What I thought it was: a holiday/winter themed book about a girl being snowed in with either a hockey player or I actually thought he would be a literal player

I’ve loved all the previous books I’ve read by Rebecca Jenshak, but this one didn’t meet up to the standards I expect. Maybe because it’s a novella, so there is less time for character development. I didn’t feel like Teddy was as interested in Holly as she was in him. It also seemed a bit immature at times. Yes, she’s only a freshman in college, but I still expected more. I guess I’m not sure what it all was, I just know that this was a miss for me.
