I really enjoyed this heartwarming holiday-themed romance! This is a forbidden, brother's best friend story set in the Valley U world. Holly and her twin sister, Stella are going to their family cabin with plans to indulge in all their holiday traditions while their parents are away. But when they get there, their older brother, is already there partying with his friends. One of those friends is Holly's long time crush, Teddy. Holly is the quieter, reserved twin, but Stella convinces her to take a chance on Teddy. Teddy is the only friend who can tell the twins apart. He has also crushed on Holly but respected his friendship too much to make a move. That is until they finally are able to spend time together, alone, snowed in. This is a charming story with wonderful characters, witty banter, and lots of steam! I love the Valley U universe and this fun, and festive novella will warm your heart for the holidays!

but the characters were two dimensional, the tension was barely there, and the conflicts barely added anything to the plot

This was cute and holly jolly (see what I did there?) until they had s3x on the floor in the living room of her parent’s home while her entire family was sleeping.

…I was really trying to not be affected by the MC being college-age but then that happened. Never in a million years, regardless of age.
