Wow this was a crazy ride right from the jump. Demarco is the definition of by any means necessary when it came to getting Nova. And I was so here for it

Nova- this poor girl was treated like absolute shit by her own family and yet she just put up with it? Had literally nightmares and/ or stayed up nights because of their continued torment but she continued to help them... wtf?!
DeMarco- sociopath.
Like he legit had to Google how to do things... MAJOR red flag right there but then add in the other stuff that makes him a "bad man" and I don't see the appeal of him AT ALL.
The storyline is fine but it's the characters that just didn't sit right with me and why I don't care for this one.
Also, Davis, if you need a proofreader, I'm not a professional but jeez louise I could do it for you

I've enjoyed the story. Some parts were a little too dramatic for my linking but overall I can see some good potential in this new author.

I loved DeMarco in Zara’s story but learning his and Nova’s story I was right to love him
I enjoyed reading DeMarco's story!! Nova's family and friends were horrible and the way she was treated was awful. DeMarco was definitely crazy but he cared about Nova. This was my first read by Shantel Davis.
Nova got on my nerves the whole damn book.I’m not this books target demo definitely because idk how the hell Demarco is the hero in this book , but I’m not really one of the dark romance girlies. Definitely spicy but sometimes it was used as a substitute for conversation and I’m just like puhlease this is not helping.
