Four stars, which means that you should read it if you like thrillers.

This is not a novel. It’s a series of short stories or novellas, each of them, independent of each other. I don’t know how I missed that fact, but I’m glad I did. I don’t like to read collections of short stories because the quality usually goes up and down and is never consistent. But each and every one of the 6 stories in this book are entertaining and interesting.

I recommend it if you’re into thrillers.

Fun, breezy read. Recommended by Stephen King - he tweeted the opening sentence of one of the novellas - "No one knows how the chimp got the revolver." Cliche cop stories with very good writing.
