A question of morality...
I thoroughly enjoyed An Anonymous Girl. The different views, mysteries, and characters kept me engaged.
Well written, kept me guessing on multiple fronts. I’ve read several by the authors, and have yet to be disappointed.

BUCKLE UP!! This book was amazing. I loved the psychology aspect to this because it really got my wheels turning. I loved the twists and turns and constant whiplash it was giving me. I kept wondering how she was gonna get out of this one!! I feel like it started in one place and ended in a completely different place after 62 loopty loops, 37 left turns, & 19 gasps. Huge fan!! Will definitely read more by this (these) author (s).
5 ⭐️ I’ve had this book sitting on my shelf for a couple of months now & finally picked it up for bookclub. I LOVED it! It started off a little slow but it didn’t take long to hook me. I had so many “oh sh*t” moments

Nothing’s ever free in life
Sometimes an impulsive decision can change the course of your life. That is what happens to Jessica Farris. She is a makeup artist working for a company in New York. At her last appointment of the day she overhears her customers talking about a morality test being conducted by a psych Professor. The volunteers will be paid 500$ upon completing the test. As Jessica is short of money and has nothing to lose, she takes part in the test, thus becoming subject 52.
She thinks she is going to tick some answers in a simple questionnaire. She couldn’t be more wrong!
An Anonymous Girl had a disconcerting and intriguing plot with a thrilling beginning, but soon became predictable and lackluster.
There were two narrators, both of them first person, one of which was not natural. I think the authors wanted to differentiate between the two voices and went over the top with one of them.
None of the characters were relatable or likeable.
I didn’t get the point of the whole plot.

This was not my favorite “thriller”. It seemed slow in the middle and I feel like the ending left a lot to be desired. I re-read the last few pages to make sure I was truly reading the end!
I read this over the course of a travel day - I honestly couldn't put it down! I KNEW I would love this book because I absolutely fell for these authors when I read "the wife between us." I have waited so long to read this because of course there is always the fear that book two won't be as good - or it WILL be and then what!?
Fortunately, this set has a lot out now, so I will not be waiting any longer!
Having a second person viewpoint was a little weird but once you get used to it, it flows well and it all makes sense why the view is utilized. The characters in this were just as impressive as their first story. I found myself going "no way!" so often that my husband checked in to make sure I was still enjoying the book XD
Perfect thriller - perfect wtaf moments - the writing felt flawless to me. I could be biased as I really do love this author pairing, but I would recommend this to anyone. The only people that could struggle is anyone who has dealt with infidelity. There's a potential trigger there, but I feel the authors did a great job with this heavy subject.
