I was really impressed with this book. The story is told in parallel points of view, so we get to experience what each character is thinking about the exact same situation. Every chapter leads to a different twist, that makes you want to continue reading on. In the beginning, I was not that hooked in the story. But by the time the anonymous girl becomes not so anonymous anymore, that's when the book picked up my interest and I couldn't let go anymore. I love psychological thrillers, and this is totally it - including two psychiatrists as the main characters. There's cheating, there are lies, there are deaths, and there's suspense. A book full of surprises where all starts as an academic study.
I was hoping for a nail biting, psychological thriller and this was just mundane and kind of boring

I quite enjoyed this book on audio! The changes in POVs were very well done. The chapters from Dr. Shields' POV were eerie because the main character's name is also Jessica and it felt like she was talking to me sometimes š„“

I absolutely loved this book. It kept me up late at night and always wanting to pick it up during the day. It checked all the boxes of a good thriller. Iād definitely recommend it.
