I think maybe audiobook wasn’t the way to go on this one...it didn’t keep me engaged. The twists were fairly predictable and none of the characters particularly interesting.

I can count on one hand the number of times I've been successfully creeped out while reading. I loved every creepy moment of this book. I didn't know what was going to happen, what was going to be revealed. I didn't particularly like any of the characters, I felt they were all very self-absorbed. Jessica and Thomas were too calm about allowing Dr. Shields to run and ruin their lives. There were hints given at darker secrets but the secrets weren't that dark when they were revealed.
That being said, it still made for one hell of a book. And like their previous novel, everything was wrapped up in a nice, semi-neat bow.

Suspenseful read that pulls you in from the very first chapter as you follow makeup artist Jessica Farris. Desperate for money, Jessica insinuates herself into a mysterious psychology study that she overhears a client talking about. It seems so easy. Answer a few morality questions make a few hundred bucks. She seems to be doing very well since the mysterious Dr. Shields takes her on personally. What starts as a few questions soon turns into a game of cat and mouse that has Jessica guessing who to believe and who to trust as she learns of another Anonymous Girl that was taken under Dr. Shields wing.
An Anonymous Girl is fast paced and keeps you guessing to the very last page.
