This was such an intense story, it’s full of so much angst, secrets, twists and lies, and plenty of chemistry and snark.
Hadley is such a total badass, but she’s definitely hiding things.
The “Princes” all have their own flaws and secrets as well.
You’ll be engaged and salivating over every morsel of unearthed information, but the ending will leave you with more questions than answers.

I could not put this book down! I literally started this book around 7ish and that was a huge mistake because I stayed up until I finished it because I just had to know what happened next! So before you pick this up make sure you definitely plan accordingly. I loved all the characters and the plot really was fast paced but really well thought out and I loved every minute reading it! I can't wait for book two.

Hooked from the beginning. So anxious to see not only where the next book goes, but the rest of the series! Once I get my hands on the next book, I’m making sure my kids are asleep early & I have snacks and coffee on hand. I don’t plan on putting it down until I get to the last page.

This is so rare I must mention it: it RH bully romance where the boys don't completely destroy the FMC and where she sends back everything that is thrown at her.
I LOVED It!
There are soooo many questions unanswered I can't wait to read the 2nd book of the series. The 1st one wasn't that dark but it should become darker as the series continues and the questions are answered.

Broken Trust by R.A. Smyth is a dark reverse harem academy bully romance. This is the first book in the Pacific Prep series.
The book comes with a warning/caution "The book also has trigger warnings for bullying, violent and/or graphic scenes, dubcon, vulgar language and graphic scenes and references to self harm and past trauma, so please do not read if you are easily offended or have the mentioned triggers"
This is the first book of Rachel's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I am loving the chemistry between Hadley, Westley, Cam, Mason, and Beck. I can't wait to see where these connections will go as the series progresses.
I really enjoyed getting Hadley, Hawk, Westley, Cam, Mason, and Beck's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to the life.

Okay! Well, that was different! I heard it was, but halfway through, I thought that was bullshit lol and this was going to be a basic bully romance. I'm happy I was wrong! The author threw in some surprises, and I can't wait to see how many more she throws our way in the books to come!
