Ohhh the meet cute! BAHAHAHA! I seriously was giggling for pages with this one! Chase stops to help stranded-in-the-rain Meg, against his better judgement, and sparks fly (pun intended). The banter between these two is just everything and carries through the entirety of the book.
Meddling mothers are the game masters here. Chase and Meg's mothers brew up a plan for Meg to help Chase with his daughter for the month that his parents are out of town. Imagine Meg's surprise when Mr. Grumpy Cat is her new "boss".
I loved Kennedy. She's smart and strong and just coming into her own way. Her relationship with Meg was heartwarming. Chase's brothers absolutely NEED their own stories!
