When Ruby moves back to her hometown she plans to take over her grandmothers bakery so it doesn’t end up getting sold, but she never expected what would happen one night during a storm. Austin has had his eyes on Ruby for a while now but he is the kind that sticks to himself yet when he gets a chance to help her out he takes it and plans to make her his. This quick read was cute with a meddling grandmother and a hot mechanic that has a heart of gold.

This is the first book of this standalone series, told in dual first person POV and leaves you with a HEA. This is an instalove that can be read in less than a day.
I loved Ruby and Austin. Their chemistry was undeniable from the start. I absolutely loved Ruby’s grandmother, she reminded me so much of my nana and her silly antics.
I am so excited for this series and to see how each couple will meet and get their HEA. This is a great palate cleanser for a book hangover with just the right amount of steamy heat. I received an advanced readers copy. These thoughts and opinions are my own.
