Filthy Beginnings by Alison Aimes is the beginning of the story to Filthy Prince. This teaser was super hot and as a fan of this series I was totally left wanting more!! I can't wait for the rest of the book because the tension that has already built up between Damien and Scarlett is amazing!! What's great with this opening, there is tension, suspense, danger, passion, lives are at risk...everything is on the line and I'm already super invested. The wait is going to be agonizing, but so worth it! ❤️

Collection of nine hot and steamy stories that will satisfy whatever you're in the mood for, from hot dominating vampires to shifters to aliens and more. Some amazing authors in here who I love to read stories from - Jenika Snow, Alison Aimes, Sarah Piper, and Meg Anne & K. Loraine - adored Pestilence prequel. Plus, you get to support Canine Companions, one of my fave charities.

Game of Deceit by Becca Steele and C. Lymari

What a deliciously dark and addictive introduction to Parker and Lorenzo’s story! I will be very impatiently waiting for their full length stories because not only does this duo write amazing stories, but they also have a penchant for drawing you in until you want nothing more than to drown in all the twisted insanity taking place on the pages, only to stop before you’re satisfied, leaving you begging for more.

These 2 need to be dubbed the "Queens of Literary Edging."

Parker and Lorenzo are pure fire, as in they skipped over steamy and dive into molten lava levels of heat. With her ambition and taste of danger, and his lethal edge, I’ve got a feeling these two are going to be volcano level explosive, and I for one CAN NOT wait.

This was an absolutely smashing anthology. I love that it was a nice mix of contemporary and paranormal romance stories. It was also a great mix of author’s I love resisting old series or giving us a peek at what’s next, as well as new to me authors, with stories that have me ready to dive into their catalog.

Edit: I was disappointed to find that a couple of the new to me author’s who included full novels don’t have their stuff on Kindle Unlimited. I was really looking forward to reading both Sarah Piper and Lexi Foss’s series.

Promised to the Night by Meg Anne & K. Loraine ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a quick little prequel that felt like a bit of a whirlwind. I felt like once we were getting a bit of a scene and introduction to characters, we were rushed to something else. That being said, the characters and story seemed interesting, so I’ll grab the series' first book.

Burn by Tracy Lorraine ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’re back at Rosewood *heart eyes* This was a fun novella featuring a few of the players who were side characters in the main series. I’m a sucker for a vacation romance, and when you add in the forbidden element, it was a short, spicy romp.

The Kingdom by Jenika Snow ⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the things I really liked about this one was that because it was a short story, there was none of the “I am ridiculously attracted to this guy I think I shouldn’t be, so I’m gonna put off hooking up with him and go back and forth for 100 pages.” This was the epitome of insta-love, but it was great!

Filthy Beginnings by Alison Aimes ⭐⭐⭐

Uhm...I thought the omega verse was a werewolf thing? Is Alphaverse the same thing as the omega verse? This one felt much more like an alien romance with some o-verse elements thrown in -- and luckily, more of just the fated mates/hierarchy stuff (not the brutal things from the first story in the o-verse I read).

Blood and Midnight by Sarah Piper ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s always fun when an author drops a whole novel into one of these anthologies. It’s *even* better when the book is actually part of a series that’s out. This was a fun paranormal romance with an interesting world. It is a spin-off, so it felt like I was missing a little backstory, but nothing that couldn’t be inferred.

His Private Collection by Geneva Lee Albin ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a steamy short! I enjoyed it, and it made me curious to check out the author's other work.

Hexen Academy: Origins by Graceley Knox & Melissa Winters ⭐⭐⭐1/2

It felt a bit rushed. Like, I thought the set-up was interesting, but like we went from 0 to 60 when Finn entered the picture, and she was all like, take me now...at least warm us up before you crank the engine. But the idea for the world is interesting, and I want to check out the series.

Game of Deceit by Becca Steele & C. Lymari ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pre-read thoughts, “oh heck, yes! This author pairing brought us the Boneyard Kings

Eeep we are getting Lorenzo’s story!! I repeat Lorenzo’s story y’all and it is going to be epic.

Game of Deceit starts with a “chance” meeting between Lorenzo and Parker. She’s looking into his past & he is taken with her. Their connection is instant and their chemistry is

PROMISED TO THE NIGHT - MEG ANNE & K. LORAINE

THE KINGDOM - JENIKA SNOW

HIS PRIVATE COLLECTION - GENEVA LEE ALBIN

Esta es la segunda que más me ha gustado. BDSM consensuado, con dos protagonistas que me han gustado muchísimo para el poco tiempo que les he leído.

This is an Anthology with contribution from several great authors. This review is about Game of Deceit by Becca Steele and C. Lymari. What an amazing introduction to Lorenzo and Parker's story. Lorenzo is the Gang Leader turned Mayor from the Boneyard Kings Series and Parker is an up an coming Reporter. This was a quick, spicy read on Lorenzo and Parker first time meeting. We are left just as shocked as Parker and left wondering what will happen next? Fantastic start and can't wait for the rest of the series.
