Stephen Fry’s voice, reading cadence and interpretation is what makes this series extraordinary.

I read the illustrated version of book one in April of 2020, but I’m trying to reread the first book and the entire series but of course it’s not letting me log the book how I need it to so I have to redo everything.

However, I enjoyed this book and the beautiful illustrations!

Excellent books! Enjoyed them as much as the first time I read them! The text is the English version, so I could see the differences to the American versions.

This has always been my favourite Harry Potter book, and Jim Kay's illustrations bring it to life beautifully. I especially loved the ones of the Hippogriffs. I thought that there were fewer illustrations in this one, and more painted page backgrounds, but maybe That's because the books are getting longer and the same number of illustrations seems like fewer. A joy to read either way.

Never read HP and it was so fun! Alot more information provided than the movies and more character development

Trying to check in for just book 3 but can’t. Kay’s illustrations are again wonderful additions. Love the darker tone set by the colors. Mirrors the darker tone established by Rowling’s text and Cuaron’s film, compared to earlier books.
