This books is actually quite light. Bad things do happen to the characters at times but then they persevere and learn something new. There are villains that are kind of lurking in the background. The worldbuilding and characterizations are top notch. Iām definitely keeping reading this series. It just keeps getting better.bexi's review

There are some dark undertones, but overall this was so cute and wholesome! It gave me Studio Ghibli vibes. š
The magic system is simple but very cleverly done, and you get to learn about magic along with the characters but it never feels like an info-dump. The art style is stunning. It's also fairly easy to follow along with the panels, which I sometimes struggle with while reading manga.
If only my library had more than the first two volumes! š

The plot thickens further in this volume of the series. I'm still enjoying this manga thoroughly. The art is beautiful, the characters are vibrant, the magic system is rad... I think Coco is capable of winning anyone over with her enthusiasm for magic and helping people. Will definitely be continuing onto the next installment.
