This books is actually quite light. Bad things do happen to the characters at times but then they persevere and learn something new. There are villains that are kind of lurking in the background. The worldbuilding and characterizations are top notch. I’m definitely keeping reading this series. It just keeps getting better.ye_li's review

Witch Hat Atelier Volume 2 continues the engaging story that is introduced in book one. This volume delves more into the relationships between the different apprentices and also sets up a dangerous situation for them to solve. We get to see some of their problem solving as well as how they work together when forced to do so. As with the first volume, this continues the gorgeous artwork and engaging character work. This series is one of my favorites that I have read and I cannot wait to read more.
