wow this was a debut novel?? very good, would rate it around 4-4.5 stars. should be adapted into a tv show; gives me school spirits x stranger things vibes fr. i feel like there were some holes in the plot that i was hoping to be addressed in an epilogue or something but maybe there’ll be a book 2 to answer those questions

A tragic story, but it was filled with lighthearted moments. I really liked Annie as a main character and while some things remained unanswered I really liked the way this story wrapped up. The plot and the characters will piss you off in the best way!

if she had an ounce of intelligence this would have been a short story. also the ghost thing was not really thought out (why did we spend so long on the ghost house residents and they literally did not matter at all) and why was there a thinly veiled samael/sam hill character for basically no reason?
