I adore the cover, title and dedication for this book. This was a lot of fun and a really fast paced story. I will say there we're a couple of plot holes
- Why can Annie eat and shower and drink if she's a ghost?
- Why can people see her and talk to her?
- The lack of explanation of how this all works is confusing.
But overall, I had a really good time.

Annie is mean, bitter, and bitchy. But she also has the perfect mix of cool, misunderstood, lostness that makes her the perfect murdered-teenage-girl.
I could not put this book down. I burned through the entire thing in 24 hours, and I loved every second of it.
As the other reviews say, yes, there are some plot holes, but in my opinion you’re only supposed to know as much as Annie knows. And she isn’t an expert on being dead!
The romance aspect is fantastic, I thought most of the characters were well written, and it was an easy to follow story. I didn’t expect the plot twist at the end, but I absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to see what Codie Crowley comes out with next!
