This book pissed me off.
I enjoyed Xander's character and his struggles with the loss of his dad. Teddy, on the other hand, what the f. She just got a divorce from her husband of 15 years, a happy marriage, might I add, and she already moved on after a year, which I do not find realistic at all. But everyone has a different journey. But her getting married and getting pregnant with Xander's kid, after they'd only been together for a couple of months, is so weird.

I also did not write the writing style at all, it was so monotone to me, and there was by far not enough dialogue for the characters to find their connection and chemistry. The pacing of the story was soo off. This could have been written so well, but there were some issues with the story. If there had been a bigger time jump, or if Teddy's previous marriage hadn't been happy, I would have really enjoyed this book.
This was my first Danielle Baker book, and it will be my last for sure.
